TRANS RIGHTS

TRANS RIGHTS NOW

TRANS RIGHTS
(Various stamped messages on currency)

Released on March 31, 2025 International Transgender Day of Visibility. Trans people exist. Someone you know is queer. Someone you love is queer. Trans people are our friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues. Everyone deserves safety, justice, to be seen, respected, and loved for who they truly are regardless of their gender identity. No one should face discrimination regarding healthcare, education, employment, housing, and legal recognition simply for being who they are. A more compassionate world is one where trans people are included in our society and can live openly and be their authentic selves. Trans rights are human rights. I stand with the trans community.

The 8 unique messages are:

TRANS RIGHTS NOW
TRANS PEOPLE EXIST
PROTECT TRANS KIDS
SOMEONE YOU KNOW IS QUEER
SOMEONE YOU LOVE IS QUEER
MY QUEERNESS DOESN’T AFFECT YOU
TRANS MEN ARE MEN. TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN.
SPREAD LOVE NOT HATE

Check out the new stamped messages here.

More Information | 212-627-9855

Postcards From the Edge is a show and sale of original, postcard-sized works on paper by established and emerging artists. Famous in the art world as the most exciting and affordable way to build a collection of work by internationally renowned artists as well as young and emerging artists, all works are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The works are signed on the back and exhibited so the artists' signatures cannot be seen. While buyers have a list of participating artists, they don't know who created which piece until purchased. A collector might end up with a work by a famous artist or someone they don't know yet. Either way, they walk away with a great piece of art while supporting the important work of Visual AIDS.

Announcing new participatory work "Cap’n Cocoa Charms"

July 10, 2024

When I was a kid, I would often combine three of my favorite cereals into one bowl for an ultimate breakfast experience. I would combine Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries, Cocoa Puffs and Lucky Charms all together! I named my concoction “Cap’n Cocoa Charms”!

So digging deep into my childhood, I invite you all to experience this ultimate sugar rush! Anyone who has a bowl of “Cap’n Cocoa Charms” gets this Limited Edition Archival Fuji Metallic C-Print Photo! You provide two bowls and two spoons. You provide the milk (Cow, Oat, Almond, Soy, etc.) I will provide the cereal. You must eat the entire bowl of cereal, as will I. Just reach out to me and we'll make plans to have a bowl of “Cap’n Cocoa Charms” together. This can happen anytime of day. This can happen most anywhere; your home, a park bench, an office, etc. This can happen in-person or virtually. We can eat together via Zoom. This edition and experience is limited to 48. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Check out the project

Let me know if you’d like to have sugar crash and have a bowl of “Cap’n Cocoa Charms” with me!

Give Me Your Seat.

Pregnant mother-to-be wearing a “Give Me Your Seat.” t-shirt on the NYC subway.

Give Me Your Seat

This project was launched on January 10, 2024.

Many years ago my friend was pregnant riding the subways in NYC. She found it hard to get a seat. So I made her a simple shirt that said “Give Me Your Seat.” Finally, years later, I’ve decided to make this a project. Every year I’m giving away a dozen “Give Me Your Seat.” T-shirts for free to any pregnant people riding the subways of NYC. Just contact me if you’d like one. I just ask you that you send me a photo of yourself wearing the T-shirt that I may share to my audience.

Announcing a new art project Get To Work! You Big Babies!

On October 4, 2023 I launched the project “Get To Work! You Big Babies!”an open edition of products that lift your spirits, hopes and dreams.

Anyone who follows acclaimed art critic @jerrysaltz knows that he encourages his audience by often saying “Get To Work! You Big Babies!” I remember once seeing his handwritten marker on yellow notepad paper, posted to his Facebook account on March 5, 2019. It had an impact on me. Like many artists and many people, I deal with depression. I’ve had huge lows and ultimate highs. But dang, those lows are really low. Anyway, back to Jerry’s words of wisdom - I’ve had a mixed reaction to his words. I often feel he doesn’t know how depressed an artist can get. But then he was an artist and we all know the history of his mother too. So maybe he does. But then I flip and take his words and they sometimes lift me out of the darkness. Anyway, if you’re like me, and you may find these words inspirational, I have something you may be interested in.

What products you ask? These products below.

50% of sales will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention:

Announcing new participatory work "I ate a taco with Harth."

“I played ate a taco with Harth.”

Announcing a new participatory work I ate a taco with Harth.

Let’s play a game together.

February 19th, 2013, I started the “I ate a burger with Harth” project, which ended after four years on April 13th, 2017. After some thought, discussions, and much deliberation, I’ve decided to do another project that involves delicious food, conversations, and you & me:

“I ate a taco with Harth.”

If you buy me, (treat me, pay for, take me out for, cook/make me) a taco(s) (chicken, beef, fish, turkey, bean, meat, vegetarian, vegan, soft shell, hard shell, breakfast, lunch, dinner) you will get this Limited Edition Letterpress Print made from an original Harth drawing. It is signed by me. Dated with the date we ate tacos together. A location is noted. You must have a taco with me. Tacos can not be purchased at a fast food place, like Taco Bell. However, taco trucks are acceptable. I, David Greg Harth, the artist, is the sole judge of what places are considered “fast food” and what places are not. Just reach out to me and we'll make plans to eat a taco together. This can happen virtually as well. We can eat tacos together via Zoom. This edition and experience is limited to 175. Please contact me if you have any questions. Note: These days, I’m just eating veggie, fish and vegan tacos. However, you can have any kind you’d like.

Let me know if you’d like to have tacos with me!

Announcing new participatory work "I played Connect 4 with Harth."

“I played Connect 4 with Harth.”

Announcing new participatory work I played Connect 4 with Harth.

Let’s play a game together.

It’s been a little while since I’ve done something like this. So here we go again. Let’s do some art. Ever since I was a little kid, I love playing Connect 4. It’s one of my favorite games.  Want to play a game with me? Want to play Connect 4 with me? Stupid? -No. Silly? -Totally! Art? -Definitely!

On August 12, 2022, I started a new art work/project titled I played Connect 4 with Harth. If you play a game of Connect 4 with me, I will give you this Limited Edition Printed Card. It is signed by me. Dated with the date we played Connect 4 together. A location is noted.

While I prefer this to happen in person, it does not have to happen in person. It can happen virtually online, on a desktop computer, laptop computer, iPad, or mobile – anything that gives you access to a URL. But if you’re willing to meet in person, we get to play with each other using tangible plastic pieces, converse, laugh, lose, and win! This edition and experience is limited to 175. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Let me know if you’d like to play with me!
