Released on March 31, 2025 International Transgender Day of Visibility. Trans people exist. Someone you know is queer. Someone you love is queer. Trans people are our friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues. Everyone deserves safety, justice, to be seen, respected, and loved for who they truly are regardless of their gender identity. No one should face discrimination regarding healthcare, education, employment, housing, and legal recognition simply for being who they are. A more compassionate world is one where trans people are included in our society and can live openly and be their authentic selves. Trans rights are human rights. I stand with the trans community.
