I was invited to be part of the group exhibition Thanks: Returning the Favor at apexart. Each artist was given a budget of $600 to create a work that explored the relationship of philanthropy and the visual arts. Instead of making a photograph or sculpture or drawing, I chose to stand outside of a New York City McDonald’s with the $600 and treat people to their meals.
