Information:

This work was created on the occasion of an exhibit titled “Draw.” Various artists were invited to participate by submitting a drawing made from graphite. During the opening night, viewers were invited to erase the artist’s drawings. My work was a 40lb. block of graphite with an attached drawer handle. Thus, making my drawing a drawer made from graphite and essentially unable to be erased. At the opening reception, viewers were rubbing their hands on the block of graphite and turning their fingers into pencils; and started to draw and write on the walls of the gallery.
